Although controlling usage is crucial to ensuring safe radiation levels, placing a laptop on the knee can actually increase the body’s exposure to EMF radiation, which is caused by the electronic operation and wireless communication capabilities of the device. Although the radiation generated by the computer is low, any electronic device connected to Wi-Fi will generate electromagnetic fields.
