Recently, an office furniture brand we have worked with approached us and asked us to help him develop a new dual-arm monitor stand.

The client’s company originally only produced single-arm monitor stands but decided to develop dual-arm monitor stands to increase product categories. The robust feature of the dual arm monitor arm is that it can mount two monitors simultaneously, which creates proper ergonomic viewing angles.

Accessory Design

Compared to other clients, he only needs to customize some of the product sets but asks us to design an accessory for their existing single-arm monitor stand to turn one arm into two arms.

General factories will reject similar projects because they only produce products according to existing design drawings. On the contrary, our company has many long-term cooperative factories, professional engineers, and a design team.Because we have worked with this client before, we have established enough trust between us that he mailed their single-arm brace immediately after receiving our positive reply.

Immediately after we receive the client’s product, we arrange for engineers to design and draw a sketch. Our engineers developed an accessory for him based on his product and years of design experience. This accessory is a curved rail with two VESA plates attached to the stand. The display is installed on the guide rail and can be shifted left and right silky without additional tools.

After continuous communication with the client, we have determined this accessory’s specific specifications and compatibility.

Performance Testing

The client approved our design proposal, and after paying the mold opening fee and sample fee, our factory began to produce the sample.

After the production of the sample, we carry it with the client’s product and test it. Ensure that the fitting degree and the product meet the requirements, and the performance meets the standards.

During the whole process of the performance test, our quality inspector kept a video connection with the client to ensure that he could see the fit degree of the accessory and the product. At the same time, we also explained the accessory’s design highlights and functional practicability to the client. The client placed a large order after the video inspection.
