The unique innovation often comes from the mutual inspiration between the demander and the supplier. Our team regularly recommends new products and development cases to customers monthly. It will also make customized recommendations according to customers’ product categories to help customers expand new product lines. When we recommend new products to customers, they often put forward their ideas, creating many unique products. Recently, we have developed a new type of heavy-duty monitor arm with an old European office furniture dealer customer.

Change the clamping mode.

When we recommended the new heavy-duty monitor arm to the customer, he asked whether it could be upgraded to the top C-clamp installation mode. Standard installation methods: Under Desk C-Clamp Mount and perforated Grommet Mount often require users to lean under the table for fastening, which makes installation and adjustment very inconvenient.

Provide customers with choices

Since our current suppliers of heavy-duty monitor arm have yet to experience the production of desktop clamping installation, our procurement team has selected new suppliers for customers and prepared three sets of solutions.

Scheme I:

The existing suppliers of heavy load monitor arm develop and design the installation fixture clamped on the table and develop new molds. The mold cost is high, which requires many attempts.

Scheme II:

Find a supplier of a heavy-duty monitor arm with a clamping installation mode on the market, but the product’s unit price is twice the customer’s target price. You can buy a small number of products to test the market acceptance.

Scheme III:

New monitor arm suppliers, and table clamp mounting fixtures with ordinary load-bearing brackets, need to be upgraded to higher load-bearing institutions, and new molds need to be developed.

The customer finally chose Scheme three. After the mold opening, the customer was delighted with the sample, and we were delighted to develop new products with the customer.
